 The MSDX Controller: - Full circle display, Dial Pre-Set + Push button direction switches with remote control output.

Fully disassembled, cleaned & prepared chassis for upgrades & new parts.

All new 3D printed front panel & buttons, also new decals, upgraded direction display assembly with new & improved compass display lens & needle.

The back panel: - Installed new fused IEC 240v socket, 6 pin Cinch socket with S/S cover plate + remote DIN socket & earth bolt, Chassis & rear cover were re-zinc plated.

On the inside: - Upgraded display illumination with my yLED-ac LED PCB. Upgraded wiring & terminal plugs etc, installed larger RF chokes. Refurbished the POT.  Re-assembled, fully tested & aligned with the 1300 rotator.

 The 1300 Rotator: - Has twin final drive gears onto the housing. The braking system is by way of the BK spring-drum assembly mounted on the top of the motor

Disassembled to the last nut, bolt & screw, then cleaned & check all parts for damage.

Install new billet lower housing end cap (DS-14HEC) which has M8 RECOIL thread inserts in the mounting holes. Also installed New billet 20mm thick x 180mm Dia mast clamp adaptor plate (MC1219AP) to the top housing.

All the housings & mast brackets were Glass Bead Blasted by IMPACT GLASS BEAD follow by etch primer & finished off in pewter gloss epoxy paint.

The limit switches were replaced & the POT was refurbished, Affixed the two 12mm gear shafts into the new 3mm lower gear plate.

The gears were aligned & shimmed then fully re-assembled into the refurbished housings with the new bearings & new grease throughout.

Re-aligned & calibrated with the controller.
