My last one, possibly my best one, there's a reason I held it for my collection, but its time to go......
Icom IC7610 in original box books mic power cord, its one beautiful unmarked unit.Definitely suit someone extremely fastidious, and happy to assist in showing how this radio can be used with DL8MRE software as a dual purpose base station and a remote link radio with the addition of an ipad. I have upgraded to an IC7760 signature edition for my remote link with an ICPW2, so you will also see my ICPW1 Icom 1kw solid state amplifier advertised soon that accompanied my IC7610. I definitely can do a good price on the combination. The IC7610 still remains the radio to buy, and yes, the IC7760 is nice, but my honest evaluation is the Icom IC7610 is the value for money by a mile as the delta to the IC7760 is not small, and possibly not justified and equally when compared to the Yaesu FTDX101D, the IC7610 shines with no extra $500 boxes needed for remote users and several features that I think make the Icom IC7610 superior to its Yaesu equivalent. Everyone knows Im a self admitted Icom fan boy, but for good reason and happy to discuss on the phone why the IC7610 shines so bright. When I sell an Icom IC7610, its from using it with incredible support from Icom Australia, time will show whilst other brands have liquidated support, Icom are investing in the future of both sales and support here in Australia.
So feel free to give me a call to discuss both this beautiful IC7610, and my insight into the incredible support you automatically get when you choose Icom. I have around $50k plus in Icom radios here in my personal collection currently and the confidence I have in especially the service support is just incredible, especially for the size of the Australian ham radio market.
This Icom IC7610 won't last long, this is my last one available out of 3 I owned and this one has been personally used as my remote link, so the reason its so extremely clean and just minimal hours is it rarely was used except for when Id access it with my ipad when overseas and travelling interstate. I keep telling people, its the best bang for buck radio for the serious ham if you dont want to use an Icom IC7300 as a compromise under $2k radio, the amount of upgrades and features that they added to the IC7610, its was definitely worth paying the $$$. Its all about the budget as the IC7300 will do a brilliant job but if you can avoid divorce and get into the 7610, you will be a happy user and you honestly dont need to expand to the IC7760, its nice, but $11k vs $6k new, or $4250 for my little beauty. Its really that clean, you won't be disappointed....
email brenton@posnav.com.au and I can arrange a time to discuss any afternoon of any day if needed. It won't last long....
