This Morse key base, ZB 15001, thigh-mounting, can carry the classic British No. 8 Morse key. It was designed for use by defence force radio operators and driver-operators for Morse code communications. You could use it with a No. 8 Morse key, or similar. The beauty of this mounting base compared with the American KY-116 and J 45 is that the webbing straps allow it to fit almost any sized thigh.
Though the paint work on the aluminium base is a bit damaged, the webbing straps and buckles are as new.

You can use this item while you are being driven in a motor vehicle:
I do not recommend you use it while driving a vehicle because it would detract attention from road conditions. It is illegal to use a mobile phone while you are driving because of distraction from road conditions.

If your favourite radio operating chair has suitable arms, you can strap this Morse key holder to one of the arms.You can use this item while you are being driven in a motor vehicle:

Why am I selling this?
While I still use Morse code, I no longer do so while driving. I concentrate on using my Morse key in my radio shack. So, this thigh-mounted base is surplus.Packaging
