The C1518 ROTATOR: -
Output Shaft is double wall Stainless steel tube (inner 59mm with a 15mm wall, outer 80mm with a 10.5mm wall), Final drive gear is a large bronze worm wheel which is driven by a steel worm gear, that has a double set of bearings @ each end. One set is for end float & the other is for side thrust. The worm gear is driven by two steel reduction gears, which is driven by the 24v DC motor & it’s incorporated sealed gearbox assembly. The whole drive assembly from the motor to the worm gear is mounted on a heavy duty cast aluminium chassis, mounted to the rotator base with 5 x M8 socket head cap screws.
Upgrades on the insides: - The DC motor’s end bell & brush chassis, All new end of rotation micro switches (includes limit & speed reduction), New micro switch activator arm, New 10 turn 500-ohm Potentiometer, Reposition RF filter module, Fully rewired to a flying lead & a LTW 7pin socket, a 7 pin LTW plug supplied.
Upgrades on the outside: - Rotator can now be mounted on a flat surface, The lower flange’s 16 mounting holes were divided into two set of 8, The first 8 were counter sunk to hold the flange to the base of the rotator, The remaining 8 holes are for securing the C1518 to a flat mount plate using M10 S/S Hex bolts & spring washes.
The removable upper outer 80mm S/S heavy wall tube/sleeve had a Create RC10 (MC64) GAL steel output flange machined down & welded to it, Includes New CREATE RC10 MC641 Gal steel mast clamps, Installed two extra H/T M10 doghead grub screws (at the top of the 80mm shaft/sleeve aligned with the original one), Replaced the original M10 S/S all thread bolt with a solid minimum threaded hex S/S bolt,
