Description
Just chasing some radios to compliment an existing collection in our museum
Chasing:-
Icom IC781
Icom IC9000
Any icom flagships, accessories, amplifiers, pretty open minded as Australias number 1 Icom fanboy
Swan Equipment to compliment our Swan 400 line up
COLLINS accessories to compliment KWM2, and will buy other Collins models.
Heathkit radios, accessories to compliment existing museum heathkit line ups. See photos
Working Yaesu FT501 As I have two non workers but zero time to restore. Will buy any older yaesu products to add to museum collection.
Any older or newer CB equipment, working or not, pls message me with photos and info. Especially 10/11 meter models, ie Ranger 3500,3300, SBE console vi, sidebander vi, cpi, Stoner, sing out with what you have.
Kenwood TS950SDX with accs, must be reasonable price.
Especially chasing JRC or AOR anything, so if you have a JRC full rx tx line up, or an AOR of significance, definitely shout out to add these to the display.
Looking for good to mint examples in ham, cb can be quite a wide range as we will use existing equipment here to make one good mint radio out of 3 if needed to complete museum display.
Anything ham or cb that you think might fit our museum will be considered to add to the shelves, we are open to whats hiding away in your cupboards, even spares to restore equipment here. Some equipment is for the museum display and some for my own fetishes in my own personal radio shack.
Ok, the why, I am about to be a bit disabled for a while due to a fun operation coming up, but allowed to do light work probably within 4 weeks of the operation, so dedicating some time to sorting out my museum (which is needing serious time due to space and system needs attention prepared to )which will mean disposal of all the 5x of some models and buying all the missing bits we just have not got in stock. We are chasing reasonably priced equipment versus anything gold plated, the budget to do this museum only stretches so far but fair prices paid.
Obviously we have a stack of double ups that need to go so keep the enquiries coming as we want the museum building to house just the best examples available, and just 1x of each model, not the current multiples of duplicates that we have.
Pix are just about 10% of whats here, so I have my work cut out for me but being retired and a slight but constrained from jumping on my bobcat and doing heavy work til I heal, radios and a commitment to getting this finally sorted made sense.
Drop me an email with anything of particular interest, definitely chasing the obscure, but also the usual favourites.
very open minded, give me 24 hours to get back to your emails, my days are a little unpredictable right now but improving hugely, so a lot to celebrate, just a bit more pain to go through to prevail. Radio is a great distraction from pain, definitely keeps the mind active and diverted.
