Description
I recently acquired a Kenwood TS-700A. On the X50-1300-20 HET board, I noticed 2 of the coils (Kenwood part number L34-0437-05) were buggered. They appear to have a 4mm wide x 6 or 8mm long slug in the middle of both which are broken.
The 2 that need replacing align with the 147.6MHz and 147MHz crystals that are in the radio. I am keen to replace either the slugs or the coils x 2. Replacing the coil is preferred as the coil housing has snapped on both and would require gluing back in place.
Open to suggestions however would like to get this radio operating as normal if possible
