RAAF Wireless Reserve badge?
In 1933 the RAAF formed the RAAF Wireless Reserve, a civilian body of amateur radio operators which had been cooperating with the Air Force since 1929 (*)
Members were issued a badge to wear – see attached illustration.
These may have been engraved with the members official number (may start with an “R”).
Note that these were specifically for the Wireless Reserve and include those words (a different badge was issued to regular Wireless Operators).
If anyone has or has seen one of these I am very interested in a good pix or to obtain one.
