I would like the following boxes for my set being complete also my long wave interest..
Type F coil box...very low frequency
Bandspread converted boxes particularly 40 and 80 metres
Crystal locked boxes, there were many of them for Gvt use.
AR7 cabinet. I have one without it...
Please see what you have if you have such tucked away. I recall a great number of AR7's being released in 1961..the WIA bought a stack of them. I was a schoolboy . Kindly old Norm Beard the WIA Secretary kept one for me...all matching serial numbers....behind his desk...until I could afford to buy it...It was 10 pounds sterling complete. One of by then only 14 children we were poor but I worked in the next two school holidays to and collected lead and brass from the Narremburn tip to buy it... so..nostalgia is playing a part here. 0405400515
