Description
This was built from a kit supplied by Electronics Australia magazine about 1985. It was hardly used at the time and has been in storage for decades. A collectable item. I have just done some tests. Setting the frequency to 144.5 MHz it measured correctly. I put 50 ohm dummy load on and looked at transmit spectrum with spectrum analyser next to it and have clean signal. Pressing transmit button the meter goes to near full scale which is about 10W. Receiver works well with a signal generator nearby quieting the noise. Includes full 60 page assembly booklet.
