Description
For sale is my Icom 1271A 23cm all mode transceiver. If you want to dip your toe into 23cm without shelling out the big bucks for a IC 9700 then this might be the radio for you.
The rig works well and has been in regular use in my shack for the past couple of years. The radio has been modded to provide a finer tuning step, ie "1296.100" reads as "296.1000". Apparently this was a popular mod back in the day.
Cosmetically the radio is in very good condition and comes in the original box (somewhat aged tho). Also included is the original mic and a comprehensive service manual in very good condition.
Shipping is negotiable if you are prepared to pay the asking price. Estmate is around $80-$100 from VK8 to VK3.
