Yaesu FT-2900R

Solid as a brick 2 Metre mobile or home base with all accessories, some of which are brand new.  The only item that is not brand new is the radio.  The microphone is a few months old, as the old one perished and was replaced with a new one.  Out with the old, in with the new.  NO INTERMODS!

I have not included a photo of the front face as I did not see the point, as it is perfect, and I have difficulty using my hands.  The outer box does have some crunching around the opening area.  I am sorry it has come with me through three home removals.

Non-smoking environment, has been used in the car and as a home base.  I have had a sideways step upgrade to an FT-3185RR ASP. We can chat about that, too.

What also comes with this transceiver is RT Systems programming lead; the software is registered to my computer, and you will have to purchase your own, which is a simple download AND $ 30 USD, I think.


A NIFTY Accessories manual.  Great for in the car or by the desk for quick reference of internal settings.

Memories are currently set up for South Gippsland and Victoria.  Though once you have uploaded the memories, it is a MUST-do first step, and then you can go gangbusters for your state.

I was planning on giving it to my neighbour's son, though he is into UHF CB and hassling the truckies and food vans.

I have two FT-3185R ASP radios and no longer require this excellent transceiver.

Postage is fixed as that is what it costs for a Post Office cardboard box, and $200 insurance, and bubble wrap.

This is a great 75 Watt Radio.
