ICOM ID-1 1200 MHz digital transceivers embed your own and the called station's call signs, which can automatically be stored in memory. You can send a short message in DV mode or communicate with an analog FM transceiver. Or, enjoy DSQL that opens the squelch only when your call sign is received, and CSQL when sharing a single call sign for quiet standby while others are talking. And, when you need the attention of all stations in the area, the enhanced monitor request (EMR) bypasses the CSQL and DSQL so all stations will hear your audio!
