Description
This FT 990 has been my main rig for the past ten years. It functions correctly as it should and has that lovely quiet Yaesu receiver. Last week I worked Spain, Finland and Austria barefoot on a wire antenna 5 meters off the ground. Comes with hand Mike and 240 volt power cord. I have worked the world with this radio and enjoy the simplicity of operation. I am currently reducing the radios and gear in general as I will not have room for it all soon. Also have the factory operating manual for this radio. The front panel and controls present well, there are chips and speckles on the top cover. This is a heavy radio 13kg so pickup would be preferred, I can drive down to North lakes or up to Gympie if it helps . Update::: I've decided to add in an MD1 desk Mike as well, it is a bit rough cosmetically but operates well. Looking for $800 negotiable. VK4AAV.
