Kenwood TS440S, refurbed, options..incl 630m

Surplus " ONE OFF" TS440S fully refurbished with options.

Fitted with the following:
- 500Hz CW filter
- 10 Hz frequency readout 
- Front panel LED upgraded, along with black buttons.. (smarter look compared to original)
- Improved DC noise filter on incoming power
- Improved AM filter, and AM broadcast band sensitivity improvements ( its now the best AM broadcast band receiver ever seen in my workshop)
- Modified to operate at full TX power on 630m, other bands operate normally.  ** Caveat that at 472kHz an external LPF and ATU 'must' be used. (forget cranky transverters).. Its possible to fit a narrow SSB filter and still keep legal on 472kHz...!!  (not fitted).
-  Note, It very likely this TX 'could' operate at 153kHz, not tested.. up to you to check. (it was never my intention to target 153kHz).
- Black carry handle, note, case has been professionally repainted in a later Kenwood grey.
- Plus all the usual updates I do to these radios.
