Description
ICOM IC7800 Base setup 200W - 240v Input power NO PSU needed.
Comes with -
AT230 As I used a multi band wire antenna
Signalink USB - to control volume outputs and levels via ACC port
W2IHY 8 Band Eq Panel for Audio input/output control
GME small extension speaker (good clarity)
Heil GM5 Mic
Hand Switch for PTT using above mic
Proper Heil cabling from Transceiver to Mic - cable Links to W2IHY unit.
FLAGSHIP status
Known as a great base station unit in the hobby - proven and tested.
This Radio went to JA for a full service via Icom Australia in 2023.
It received a new screen , Firmware , DSP units , and various factory spec alignments per ICOM...and some enhanced filtering I believe.
This radio did produce a DSP symptom which led ICOM Aus to send it to JA who had the correct tooling and parts for the correction.
Its all documented.
Icom Australia are well aware and have records also of this event.
IT is a great example , clean and Pristine for its age.
REASON FOR SALE
I plan to exit the hobby in transmissions.
I repair Hybrids which is my Amateur outlet.
This radio gets no use and would suit a savvy amateur who is looking for quality gear.
IT IS A GREAT RADIO. Has all the bells and whistles with no SDR aspects.
Its older school turn on , and talk.
Icom menus are not confusing , and its a very easy radio to operate and refine.
IT IS A RELUCTANT SALE...but I am not 1 to shelve these things to collect dust.
The accessories are what have me "ON AIR"
Its an all round good combination.
