K3s - Fully loaded with the P3 and KPA500.
This K3s has the latest synth boards by default (if you get an older K3 look to see if it’s been upgraded or not). Dual Receivers. This radio has has 5 filters in each (13khz (FM), 6khz (AM), 2.8khz (SSB), 1khz (CW) and 200hz (TIGHT CW))
Modules in the radio:
KAT3 is the build in antenna tuner in the K3s itself. It’s good for up to 100 watts and can switch between two antenna ports.
KPA3 is the internal 100W amplifier, the radios are only 10W out of the box though you will almost never see a radio without the internal 100w amp and tuner module included.
KVDR3 is the digital recorder, lets you record and play back CQs etc. I think you can also record snippets live off the air if you want.
KBIO3B is a USB I/O interface, the standard was RS232 for a long time on the Elecrafts. Standard USB A connector (USB sound card and Cat control for digital and logging etc)
KRX3 is the sub receiver, lets you do diversity reception or listen to two bands at once if you really want to. Useful also to listen split when working DX stations.
KBPF3 general coverage receive upgrade, performance boost outside the ham bands on RX.
KXV3B is the transverter board, to allow external transverter connectors for 144 or 1296 or whatever you like
K3EXREF is the external 10ghz reference input board

This was my main radio before I fell down the Flex rabbit hole... It's amazing, last and best Super Het radio out there. I'm happy to sell for a decent price, but I'm honestly also happy to keep it as an incredible mark in radio history.
