Description
I have ONE “As New” SB220 HF transceiver. These are old xtal locked sets, 4 x RFDS channels and 2 x OTC duplex channels.
It has lived it's life in a padded aluminium transit case that I wanted, the radio is not required. It is in very good condition, no dirt or dust inside or out.
The PA in these sets can be would up further than the 100 watt Australian regulatory requirement. Power set pot on PA board. It should make180 watts (Taken from the sales info for the SB220) and could probably be modified to use as an external amplifier with a better heatsink. (I have kept a third one for this purpose.)
It looks as though the selcal function is NOT fitted.
New microphone included, PDFs of manual available.
