Kenwood TS520S

One owner, deceased estate, bought according to his family in 1975.

This unit has the revised inclusion of 160mx and included the DC inverter.

Tested on the bench, output valves still have good emission, reads 130 watts on a 250 watt Bird 43 slug, about 80 watts on 10mx, where I think they all struggle somewhat.  Easily makes 100 watts on all other bands.  See videos below.

Receiver seems lively, the only HF antenna at hand was my 10 mx beam and a video of a beacon is attached.  

Casework has some signs of scratching, front panel is good, all controls doing as they ought.

Happy to try and answer questions, but this was not my own radio and its some 50 years since I last serviced Kenwood transceivers.

Given the knowledge I have of the owner, I believe its presents as factory original with nothing more than expected wear and tear.

I presume the Kenwood microphone is original, mains power lead and original operating manual, circuit diagram etc.
