I'm selling my beloved Yaesu FRG-9600 wideband receiver. This machine is in excellent working order and has been treated better than most people's houseplants. It is 100% operational and pulls in signals like a conspiracy theorist pulls in late-night YouTube videos.
Physically, it shows the dignified signs of age—like Sean Connery in a tux—but everything important still works flawlessly. One rubber cover on the vol/tone knob has vanished (possibly into a black hole or under the couch), but it still tunes like a champ. No original box or accessories included—this is just the raw, unfiltered radio experience, straight out of the 1980s and into your ham cave.
Whether you are a collector, an RF hoarder, or someone who enjoys spending Friday nights decoding pager traffic from 1987, this is a rock-solid VHF/UHF receiver that still holds its own.
$195 for a quick sale—because I need to free up desk space for yet another piece of equipment I absolutely do not need.
Pickup available, or I can ship at the buyer’s expense -- $20 (note: shipping through wormholes not currently supported).
