On offer is a beautiful multiband Healing from the late 60's in wonderful condition, both in functionality & aesthetics. Just as it was when it was made,
In addition, it has two telescopic aerials, HF & VHF, both in perfect straight condtion. Please as all my Family were aware, when returning the telescopics to their home position, always start by taking down the bottom sections first, always, never place your hand on the top of the telescopic and push down, that it why it is still perfect and straight today !
Covering 530 khz to12.5 Mhz in 3 bands and 87.5 Mhz to 174 Mhz in 2 bands, just as seen on the dial and with a beautiful squelch control, especially when listening to VHF Marine frequencies when listening with FM.
Covering the amateur, marine, aircraft & SW bands, a wonderful and very handy receiver. Passed down to me through Family, it has been very well cared for. I have used it on and off forw a few recent years and enjoying hearing it, in particular, as a very old & former private pilot; aircraft approaching ADL airport in conjunction with 'Flight Radar'. As I am downsizing late in my life, I only need one SW radio, so here is the opportunity to pick up a very useful but inexpensvde & exceptional SW radio.
The case condition is very godd for it's age but with one little flaw on the rear of the case where one little leather tab has broken which assists in securing the bottom of the rear cover. A very small job to adhere that leather joint with the press tab on it.
In the last picture here there is a clip from the Shortwave Users Group, International by the look of it. They describe the radio as rare, a link to that You Tube exact site below, an interesting short read. The batteries will be removed for postage, for obvious reasons of cost & risk with Aus Post.

And a very economic radio for any new comer into SWL ! A great gift for them as well.
Generously packed at 3.5 Kg and measuring 38 x 32 x 29cm, a estimed Aust Post cost to say SYD is ~$30, very cheap for such an item.

I reckon every household should have one, not just for general SWL, but emergencies, as it is both 240V & DC powered with the 4 D cells, very convenient. The battery case has never been used from my observations, perfectly clean.
