Description
You are bidding on a BC-1206 navigation receiver, which, though used, is in excellent cosmetic condition. This example was manufactured by Setchell Carlson, Inc. It was designed for mounting in a 3” diameter hole in an aircraft control panel. The frequency coverage is 200 to 400 kHz, the standard NDB range - see photos.
All original equipment manufactured components are present. All valves / tubes are present and their heaters glow when I applied power. This set was designed for operating off 24 Vdc.
I have not tested it for operatioanily. I offer it AS IS.
You can
I acquired this receiver with several other navigation receivers of similar vintage – R-23 / ARC-5, BC-453. I have been gradually getting these receivers operational and moving them to willing collectors.
When I acquired this BC-1206, it had a crude tone control where the headphone socket should be. I removed the tone control and associated components and fitted a standard ¼” headphone jack.
Packaging
I make no charge for packaging. Your item will be properly wrapped and packed to withstand the usual rigors of postal and courier delivery systems.

- There are often differences between what Australia Post's and other carriers' online calculators show, and what they actually charge. Generally, Australia Post uses the quickest delivery method, such as one of the more expensive Air Mail modes.
- If you win several items, I will bundle them to get you the most economical shipping charge.
