Description
You are bidding on a Sorenson AC Voltage regulator.
It is designed for an input of 95 to 130 Vac, single-phase, 50 to 60 Hz and delivers 110 Vac, or whatever Voltage you set using the front-panel adjustment trimmer. So, it can work in countries whose mains is 100 Vac and in places where mains is up to 130 Vac. It can deliver 110 Vac at up to 5 A, ie, 550 VA at which level it draws 7 A from the input.
The input is via a tethered cord terminated in a 3-pin NEMA plug. The output is available at two 3-way female NEMA sockets on the rear panel.
All original equipment manufactured components are present.
Apart from slight paint damage, it appears in pristine condition.
I connected it up to a 230 to 115 Vac step-down transformer to check it works; the output Voltage appears after a few seconds warm-up - see photos.

When I started collecting military radio equipment, most of it was designed and manufactured to American specifications for use on American standard, single-phase mains. Since those early days, most of the radio equipment I have acquired can operate on a range of mains input Voltages. So, this item is now surplus to my requirements.
Packaging
I make no charge for packaging. Your item will be properly wrapped and packed to withstand the usual rigors of postal and courier delivery systems. This item weighs 17.6 kg bare. When packaged it may approach 20 kg.
