Description
You are bidding on one 5-pin plug. The pins are brass with hollow solder buckets inside the plug, moulded into the plug’s base; the base and screw-on cover are brown Bakelite - see photos.
It is new, never used. There are several; tell me how many you want so I can send you the correct invoice.

I designed a multi-frequency regenerative receiver as a kit for newcomers to radio. These 5-pin plugs were to support different RF coils.

- use it for feeding an electrodynamic loudspeaker – 2 pins for the electro-magnet, 2 pins for the audio output, 1 pin for an external audio drive or feedback
- use it to connect to a 7-way socket to use a 1625 instead of an 807
- use it to connect to an octal (8-way) socket to use a 6L6, KT 66 or EL34 instead of an 807
- use it to carry HT and LT to a piece of electronic equipment
- use it to support changeover coils in multi-frequency receivers and transmitters
- add it to your collection of yesteryear spares.
