YaesuMusen FF-50 DX 52Ω Low Pass Filter
This is a vintage YaesuMusen LPF, it must be a collectors item, Totally sealed and dent-proof construction!.
Quick test with my Comet CAA-500 confirms it works well and as expected from the specification. Specs believed to be:
HF pass to 38 MHz, 0.5 dB insertion loss. Attenuation is 80 dB at 75 MHz. Rating 1.2 kw
Whilst testing, I found that the Input/left (?) connector appears to have the non-standard thread, whilst the other end is OK. A clean, reclaimed connector is included that DOES FIT correctly. It is labelled King’s KU-9-22 but that does not seem to compute going from online searches – it seems to be medium-good quality connector. See the pix that shows the connector correctly seated.
SO239 connectors each end. No warranty expressed or implied.
