Description
The Universal HF CCIR 493 Selcall Controller is compatible with most SSB two way radios. Enabling the transmission, reception and monitoring of all HF Selcall traffic on the channel.
Encoder capability:
Send a CCIR493 Beacon Call (compatible Codan, Barrett, Qmac etc).
Send a CCIR493 Selcall (compatible Codan, Barrett, Qmac etc).
Send a Barrett format message (32char text message).
Send a Barrett format GPS request.
Send a Barrett Status request.
Send a Codan/Qmac format Telcall
Decoder capability:
If Mycall is decoded, Blinking LEDS, revertive signal generation and horn alert output.
Display all Selcall & Beacon call traffic on the channel.
Display all Barrett format text message traffic.
Display all Codan format text message traffic.
Display all Codan & Qmac Telcall traffic.
Display all Barrett GPS position traffic.
Display all Hangup calls.
Provide 9600 baud TTL serial logging output of all selcall traffic.
Same pinouts as TinyTrack and OpenTracker APRS modules.
Requires a PS/2 keyboard to enter selcall numbers and message text.
