Description
‘Bathtub’ flameproof aircraft Morse Key. Bathtub keys were used in WW2 in British bombers, including the Lancaster bombers. The RAAF used the Bathtub key in their Anson and Wirraway training planes fitted with T1083/R1082 wireless sets, and post-WWII on their Canberra bombers equipped with the wireless set Marconi T1154/R11554. Externally in pristine condition. Inside, a chip has broken away from the upper wall of a screw tube, but is internally sound to affix the key to a base.
