ELECRAFT W2 WATTMETER (NO COUPLER)

Hello All

Available for sale I have an Elecraft W2 watt meter (without coupler).

This watt meter is in excellent physical condition and operates 100% with one exception. This device has two inputs for connection to two radios (two couplers) at the same time. Only input 1 functions - Input 2 does not.  Input 1 works perfectly and I have used this meter in my station for about 5 years now and it has performed flawlessly - with just the one couple of course.

These meters stand alone cost around US$280 if purchased directly from Elecraft (if cost of included coupler is dedcuted) plus exorbitant US shipping plus other fees. Well over A$500.
I am selling this unit (without coupler) for $250 plus shipping. A very cheap way to procure a quality meter if you only need the one input.

I did ask Elecraft about the defective 2nd input and they said the meter would need to be returned to US for repair - as I only had the one coupler - I could not justify the freight cost involved and just happily used input number 1.

I personally like this meter as it can be software controlled on both PC and MACOS and is thus handy foir remote operation. It also does not have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive LP meters which I simply do not use.

I am only selling as I have purchased another used W2 meter and will use both inputs on that one - hence I am keeping my coupler so that I have two couplers for attachment to the newly purchased W2
