Repair option - Older ROHDE & SCHWARZ Sig Gens

                  to hopefully assist others... I'm offering a Repair option for some older R&S Sig Gens.

So... a Module Swap - Bad for Repaired for just $50. 

R&S has a well deserved reputation for it's RF Products - especially it's range of Signal Generators.  Even today these older R&S Sig Gens are still highly sought after for their sheer Quality and Signal purity.

These are the 19 Inch wide units with the Blue/Purple exteriors.
So... the 2 GHz SMH, and the 1 GHz SMG and SMX Models.

I recently had a problem with my R&S Model SMH, 2 GHz Sig Gen.
It would not come up on the correct Frequency.

After a few hours of investigating the rather complex internal PLL circuitry with the Service Manual, I finally resolved my issues. An ancient Hybrid Module now hard to find had failed.
This required the fabrication and installation of a tiny Daughter Board/PCB.

To assist others with similar Frequency issues/problems with their early Model R&S Sig Gens, I can now offer a Module Swap option using some Spare Modules that I have acquired.

I offer this Swap Option/Service for a mere $50 plus P&P.
