Description
Micronetics NOD 5108 noise source, working. Everything seems to be fully functional.
Notes:
1. ouptput level seems OK, measured -77.7dBm/Hz into 50Ohm and with a long cable between output and specan.
2. 10dB attenuator steps OK to 80dB attenuation, 90 and 100dB hard to measure.
3.. 1 dB attenmuator steps all OK.
4. it has a mimimum loss pad on the output so presumably is 75Ohm output.
5. the 10dB steps attenuator is a Weinschell 3014-100 which is rated to only 1.25GHz.
6. the 1dB steps attenuator part number cannot be easily read without disassembly.
7. power cord not included but I can provide one if you really need it.
Local pickup from near Camberwell Junction, VIC. Packed it would weigh about 5kg and go in a box about 24x30x16cm so you can get a postage guesstimate from the Post Office web site.
