Marconi 2955 in beautiful condition $2250

Marconi 2955 radio communications analyser,comes with a load of manuals, working beautifully and ready to be used in a new home.

This unit was mine for many years,  travelling then to Merimbula to a very good radio technician mate to use for a few more years and yep, like most Australian boomerangs,  ended up back in Tangambalanga again some time back. This unit has been serviced,  tested and is not your average 2955 which at best can be an unknown quantity if bought on various auction sites with no guarantees of what your getting. Im more than happy to demonstrate this unit working perfectly and its cheaper and definitely more dependable than any of the auction site units by a mile. If your after a good test set with over 12 years of good history between the two last owners, this is the one. The only slight issue I could find was actually lack of usage which required me to just continually use the buttons as they were a little stiff,(most were actually fine) but thats quite normal and 10 mins of pushing buttons, they always loosen up fast. The Marconi 2955 is simple to use, generally has everything you need to service HF VHF and UHF Transceivers, its not complex like some of my other equipment here requiring me to think way too much at times. This unit is just reliable, can be run from AC or DC, has a reliable scope on board and an especially easy to use RX  generator with tone access utilities and TX is able to be measured to a very high level accuracy for power, frequency,  again tone, etc etc.

This unit can be shipped Australia wide at your cost,  an additional commercial hard shipping case is available for an extra $65 to ensure it travels well as we have been offered a qty of hard cases to help with some of these for equipment exactly like this.
