Description
You are bidding on a Motorola HT-90 VHF handheld transceiver. The operating frequencies are unknown, though it is specified as 136 to 175 MHz. It is battery-operated and comes with the standard battery. The battery is in unknown condition. There is a spare, used front panel with speaker, microphone and connecting cable in serviceable condition; if you make the winning bid and want it, just ask; no extra charge.
I have also listed the dedicated charger separately. If you make a winning bid, you may want to consider getting the battery charger as well; please tell me so I can send you an appropriate invoice.
This radio is advertised elsewhere with its charger for US$90, presently.
How you can use it
With suitable crystals, you can operate it anywhere in the VHF High band. You could even use it in the 2-m radio amateur band, 144 to 148 MHz. There are many commercial antennas available with a BNC connector, or you could connect it to an antenna on top of your vehicle or workshop.
