EMDRC “NO RESERVE” AUCTION OF TEST EQUIPMENT
Commencing 10.30 a.m. SUNDAY 15th SEPTEMBER 2024
Following on from our last auction in 2022, the Eastern and Mountain District Radio Club is running an auction of test equipment at its club rooms 13a McCubbin Street Burwood 3142.
Please note that as a NO RESERVE auction, all items are sold “as is”.
The majority of items are from the estate of the late John Rickard, VK3AVO, who was a well known collector of test equipment.
He was a frequent bidder at Government Auctions of used test equipment from various Government Departments and the Armed Services. John had a keen eye for the mechanical and electronic intricacies of test equipment from the 1960s onwards.
A downloadable catalog (.pdf 8 MB) of the 65 items of test gear is available on the club website www.emdrc.com.au. The catalog provides details of the auction conditions and methods of payment.
To assist with those who have limited mobility or other access issues, bids in advance of the auction will be accepted by the auctioneer.
Questions can be directed to David VK3RU or Peter VK3QI via vk3er@ emdrc. com.au
