EXPRESSION of INTEREST is sought for a vintage Weston VR60TM AM HF Radiotelephone Transceiver made by Weston Electronics of Sydney and being sold as a Parts/not-Working item.

Tuneable Rx: B’cast band & 1.6 to 10.5 MHz
Channelised Tx: maximum of 10 Xtal locked frequencies (could be driven by an external DDS – DDS NOT included).
Transmitting valves included
Specifications: A copy of the brochure/specifications will be provided to the buyer.
Circuit schematic: A copy will be provided to the buyer.
Condition: Broadcast & short-wave signals were audible during recent tests. Dial lamps & valve heaters operate. No other tests were performed on the Tx. Pencil marks added to the front panel indicate that the Tx was working in relatively recent time, however, the P/S is now missing.
Some wear & tear on the outside. The microphone is missing.
