Atlas 210x Base / mobile HF Transceiver
The M&DRC storage garage is getting a cleanup to make room for other items coming in and this is one of the offerings for sale.
This Radio comes complete with power lead, Shure Microphone, Mobile mounting quick release cradle, external band or frequency control box with three xtals fitted and some documentation.
Provided in the sale is the optional band expand control box with three crystals fitted. The has been no calculation on the intended frequency of operation of on its operability and like the rest of this offering, is provided “As is – Where is – no guarantee or right of return”

According to the above site, over 15000 of these radios were produced so one would imagine that there most likely will have a few donor parts rigs available if necessary, during the possible restoration.
The only testing that has been done is to see if it would power up – and it did!
The radio does receive on all the standard fitted bands HOWEVER, it was not tested for transmit ability although when the PTT was pressed, there was an indication of a slight movement in the power output meter.
That is the total amount of testing done which was limited by available time and in the knowledge that this is going to be listed as “For Repair – Parts Only” with no option for return
I note that there has been some work done to the PA stage as can be seen in the photos and the photos do form part of the listing
This item is clean but is untested with zero guarantee or warranty re serviceability and is priced accordingly with no return or refund.
