Special BC348...

Very interesting  and working BC348 "R". Dutch military paint... metal plate insignia on all controls ...possibly used as military transmitter- tracker or with diplexer antennas. Front panel is not old one extended..it was completely replaced for the extra length.

I cleaned the white marks you can presently see on the RF section cover-plate...Can't find the newer picture at the moment. I rebuilt the meter section, replaced the regulator  changed the can-caps below the (once was) dynamotor section and will fire it up before it departs.

The missing knob has been put back...

I made a hole large enough for the mains plug to fit through the rear of the case and extended the lead. Now one can easily take the unit right out of the case. 

All 348's need peaking...Carlson's lab goes through the routine...I have not made any adjustments since I bought this one There's a speaker inside the custom made case.

Postage for this '348' depends on 'where to' I send by Courier and use the cheaper ones...never had a problem with them. I pack well...

Some interesting things of mine will be coming on site...including valve testers, AR7, DRAKES, BC453's and the BC Band model. I have a lot of valves/tubes and some modules and valves for ART-13 for examples.
