Command receiver IF transformer

You are bidding on one WWII Command receiver IF Transformer (IFT) - see photos. Another vendor is asking US$40 per IFT. 
I can offer some as complete sets. These IFTs were used in ARC-5, SCR-274-N and ARA families of receivers. Dr Drake of Aircraft Radio Corporation oversaw the IFTs’ designs. Using air trimmers, these IFTs are extremely frequency stable compared with those using mica compression trimmers.
There are several IFTs for:
 

• ·NDB navigation receivers (IF = 85 kHz), part Nos. 4577, 4698 and 10791. The shape of the band-pass of these IFTs can be altered by changing the spacing between primary and secondary coils - see last 3 photos.
• ·Communication receivers (IF = 1415 kHz), part Nos. 7276 and 9690; some 2nd and 3rd IFTs are tapped to allow BFO injection
• ·Communication receivers (IF = 2830 kHz), part Nos. 7277, 7278 and 7279.

Tell me how many of which transformers you require so I can give you an accurate invoice.
As extras, I have some new and one used chassis plugs for these; ask me.
All original equipment manufactured components are present, except:

• some of the aluminium and black Bakelite caps over the band-pass and trimmers adjustment may have been swapped – ask me if you want uniform sets of caps
• paint on the screw heads may be damaged.

You can use them

• for their original purpose in your Command receiver(s)
• for replacing IFTs that have failed in your Command receiver(s)
• to construct a variable-bandwidth external IF amplifier
• in a communication receiver you are building
• to add to your collection of Command receiver spares.

Why I am selling these items
I collected these IFTs when I was rebuilding several Command receivers. I have now rebuilt all the receivers I need, and these listed here are surplus.
