ex RAF Wavemeter BC-221

The BC-221 was for many years the standard by which all others were judged.
A stable valve oscillator  driven by the best crystals money could buy and made to the highest standard gov spec. (usually by Collins)  wide freq ranges using harmonics. This one is complete (and working, or it was a few years ago) and owned by me since 1963 - not tested recently -original charts included, (Circuit is  attached inside case)  home made power supply. is fitted (easily removable )  in the original batterty compartment There is also a set of spare valves in original packing    offered  at probably the value of the valves alone.
These were  used by gov depts until the mid 80';s when solid state devicestook over.
A  home made  power supply-  mains  transformer  rectifier valve  (easy lift out,) is fitted into the original battery space
    A collectors item or source of parts for a near perfect Valve transmitter  $45 buyer collects or arranges pick up  from Yackandandah. (open to suggestions?)   or make  an offer ?    VK3DBD  QTHr
