Description
You are bidding on a KenPro KR 400 antenna rotator. This item is new; I have not used it since acquisition. It comprises:
- The geared motor head
- The stationary shaft grip, usually your vertical mast, though if you are chasing satellites, the horizontal mast
- The antenna mast grip
- The remote controller and pointing indicator; this is designed for 115 Vac operation
How you can use this item
You can use this rotator to turn a directional antenna:- in the horizontal plane, for instance seeking distant TV or VHF stations
- in the vertical plane, to follow LEO satellites.
Why am I selling this?
Early in my electronics teaching career at TAFE, I taught the Broadcast Operator’s Certificate of Proficiency (BOCP) course. Most of my BOCP students were members of the college’s amateur radio club. When TAFE decided it would no longer offer the BOCP course, the amateur radio club folded. I acquired this rotator. Though I still monitor VHF stations, my communication preference is now HF. So, I no longer need this rotator - it is surplus.Packaging

- You must ask me to quote the shipping charge, because there are often differences between what Australia Post and other carriers' online calculators show, and what they actually charge.
- If you win several items, I will bundle them to get you the most economical shipping charge.
- Though most carriers offer tracking as part of the carriage charge, you must ask me to quote you for such additional delivery services as tracking, signature on receipt or insurance.
- Shipping weight: 8.5 kg; shipping dimensions: 35 x 30 x 30.
- I will add a small handling charge to cover the costs of my taking your packed item to my nearest Australia Post office.
