You are bidding on an Aerial Base, ZA11009. It is part of the UK military HF antenna ‘F’, nomenclature ZA 11011. This base supports 7 telescopic elements 1.4-m long making up a vertical, ground-plane antenna - see photos.
This Aerial base was made by AWA as part number 12823 to the UK Military pattern, ZA11009. You need to mount it on a 1-1/4" or 35 mm diameter pole. With antenna rods matching pole length, this could be a centre-fed antenna.

I acquired this aerial base when I had British military HF radio equipment. I didn’t use the British equipment because it was FM and the bands I wanted to communicate on used SSB (AM). The British equipment is now nearly all gone; so, this aerial base is surplus.

I make no charge for packaging. Your item will be properly wrapped and packed to withstand the usual rigors of postal and courier delivery systems.

You can
- use it with its original military radio communication set, like the Plessey-made C-42
- use it as is with amateur radio communications equipment antenna rods, 5/16" diameter
- with a good antenna coupling unit, use it with your chosen antenna rods on amateur and CB frequencies
- add it to your collection of UK military equipment.

- Australia Post includes insurance up to AU$100 and includes tracking as part of the carriage charge. Some carriers include neither insurance nor tracking.

- I will add a small handling charge to cover the costs of my taking your packed item to my nearest Australia Post office.
