Ventenna HFp portable vertical HF antenna

For sale is my Ventenna HFp portable vertical antenna PLUS spares and accessory options. This is an extremely portable design for 40m through 6m and will handle 100W all modes.  It takes about 5 minutes to set up and is completely self supporting with either a tripod base, or ground stake (both included). Guylines are provided for windy conditions.  The entire package breaks down into a small carry bag which is 53cm long and weights about 1kg.

The unique design allows different bands to be configured by the selection and orientation of 6 helically loaded elements, coupled by threaded brass connectors. The HFp is designed to operate with 3-4 tuned radial wires (provided) and an SWR of 1.1-1.3:1 is achievable on all bands after adjusting the radial lengths and the length of the telescopic whip. A configuration chart is provided.  An antenna analyser or VNA are very helpful for fine tuning.

Note:  this is a one-band at a time antenna.  It must be reconfigured to change bands. Once you've had a bit of practice, the process is smooth and fast.

These antennas received outstanding reviews on eHam, including one by me.  Sadly, they are no longer in production following the retirement of their manufacturer. I've had a lot of DX fun with this set up, but it's time for it to find a new home.
