Description
You are bidding on a new, unused Low-noise block-down amplifier and filter (LNBA/F) made by California Amplifier. You use it at the focus of a dish of diameter 40 to 60 inches (1 to 1.5 m). It operates in the Ku band, taking 12.25 to 12.75 GHz as input and providing an IF from 950 to 1450 MHz.
This item is new. I opened the shipping carton to take the photographs.
The shipping carton contains the LNBA/F, the horn director for covering the dish, and installation and operating instructions. I have included a business card from Prosat satellite services, who may be able to help you further.

How you can use this item
You need your own parabolic dish. Install this device at the focal point of your dish. Then feed 12 to 22 Vdc via a DC-blocking feed at your receiver. Now you can adjust the position of the director for best coverage and gain from your dish - see the contained instructions.Why am I selling this?
I had intended tweaking this device for the amateur 10 GHz band. I have not gotten around to acquiring any 30 mm equipment – a dish, or converter. So, this new item is available.Packaging
