Description
2 x HF amplifiers from the famous VK3HW shack in Ballarat, these are the two high band amps of the four amps from the site. They are designed to run on 3-500Z tubes but other tubes will work in them. Amp #1 - 40/30/20m & Amp #2 - 10/12/15/17/20m.
The amps use an external power supply that is missing but I have a high current transformer to make a replacement, I also have 4 x 4-250 tubes that will work in the amp which will be supplied.
The amps will need minor attention if any to get going, one has a couple of wires cut on the vacuum relay that needs to be reconected and that is about it.
The blowers are missing and will need a replacement, I will supply what extra bits i have including a blower and spares for making the power supply.
This is a unique oportunity to own Collins design amps from a famous DX station built with top quality parts, I would say the parts are worth the price alone.
Price is for both amps, tubes, transformer, caps etc. all as pictored.
I can ship them via Pack and Send and it will cost $200 with insurance.for both.
