(NB, Seperate to the TL-922 in my full Kenwood station listing). Up for grabs is this very nice Kenwood TL-922 HF Linear Amplifier. This unit is fully tested and ready for operation. You won't find another another amp capable of 1500 Watts PEP and loafing along at 400 Watts for what I'm asking.
This is just about as good as it gets for dual 3-500ZG Amplifiers. TL-922's are built like an Abrams Main Battle Tank and I'm sure would survive enemy artilery fire and 'send it' right back. No compromises anywhere.
Cosmetically I rate this unit at about an 8.5 out of 10. It will come with brand new RF Parts/Taylor 3-500ZG tubes with full output (now over $1200 delivered to get them to Australia, I nearly fell off my chair).
Strictly local pick up only from the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne (it weighs over 30kg). Alternatively I can take it to the upcoming Ballarat Hamvention if full purchase price is deposited and cleared in my account. I'm also willing to travel up to a few hours outside of Melbourne for a small fee.
