Description
up for sale is a Ameritron AL811h Amplifier with 4x 572b tubes fitted
this unit works as it should with around 600 watts output ,
fast and easy to load up.
would suit a tube radio exciter or a radio with a built in tuner , as the input wafer has been removed. due to the 4 x 572b tubes being 200 ohms each, the input impedance is pretty good, being close to 50 oms , much like the older dentron amps .
the wafer can be replace but im not paying $200 for a plastic wafer .
and the amps still produces 600 odd watts output with a acceptible input swr .
